Imran Islam, PhD, is an Assistant Professor of Textile Development and Marketing at FIT. He holds a BS in Textile Technology and a MBA in Marketing from the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh, MEngg. in Advanced Engineering Management from the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology, and PhD in Sustainability in Textiles and Apparel from Kansas State University (KSU).  Dr. Islam is author/ co-author of over forty publications and research abstracts presented at national and international conferences. He is a member of many professional societies and organizations including the International Textile and Apparel Association (ITAA).
