Ann Coppinger runs the conservation department and teaches conservation at FIT. She has a Master of Arts in Museum Studies: Costume and Textiles from FIT. She is a former NEA master apprentice at the Textile Conservation Workshop. Coppinger previously worked for 22 years in fashion in New York City. She also has degrees in Fashion Design and Patternmaking Technology from FIT.
