Jennifer Lee, PhD

ASSISTANT PROFESSOR, FASHION BUSINESS MANAGEMENT

Jennifer Lee has over ten years of pop-up shop experience in academia and the fashion industry and is a full-time faculty member in the Fashion Business Management department at FIT. Lee teaches computer-aided product development courses focused on the use of the latest industry software programs including CLO 3D, Gerber YuniquePLM, and Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. She has project and research expertise in sustainability and fashion technology, having published six research papers and presented at four conferences on the sustainability of fashion technologies. Her research interests are focused on the application of emerging 2D and 3D technologies for sustainable product development to reduce commercialization lead time and physical material waste. Lee earned her PhD in apparel design from Iowa State University, along with a MBA in marketing from the University of Houston and a BS in Fashion Merchandising Management from FIT.
