Professor Christine Pomeranz is the tenured chairperson of the department of International Trade and Marketing for the Fashion Industries at FIT, and the founder of the Talking Trade @ FIT guest lecture series. Prior to her teaching experience, Christine’s career in international banking included executive positions with Australia and New Zealand Banking Group Limited and The Hong Kong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited. She has served as a member of the New York District Export Council and as a member of the Steering Committee of the New York City Global Business Alliance, and is on the advisory board of the NYC Fair Trade Coalition. She earned her MBA with majors in Finance and International Business from NYU in 1998 and received her BA in Business Administration with honors at Assumption College in Manila, Philippines in 1980.
